CM Dhami Attends Holi Milan Program in Nagar Nigam Dehradun, Inaugurates E-Fund Website

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Holi Milan program organized by the Municipal Corporation Dehradun today. During the event, he also inaugurated the e-Kosh website, aimed at ensuring transparency in financial operations within the Municipal Corporation. The CM extended his heartfelt Holi wishes to the people, emphasizing that the festival not only spreads joy and colors but also strengthens cultural unity and harmony in society.

Highlighting the ongoing development efforts in Dehradun, CM Dhami stated that the Municipal Corporation is focused on providing high-quality public facilities and improving urban cleanliness. A yoga park spanning 3.5 hectares is being built in Kedarpuram at a cost of ₹5 crore, while another park is under construction in Yamuna Colony for ₹1.3 crore. To enhance waste management, mechanized transfer stations are being established at two locations. Additionally, under the Swachhata Senani Samman Yojana, three environment-friendly individuals working in city wards will receive ₹10,000 per month as an honorarium.

The CM also praised Dehradun’s achievement in the Swachh Survekshan 2023, where it ranked 68th nationwide and first among all municipal corporations in Uttarakhand. He expressed confidence that Dehradun’s cleanliness ranking will improve further this year.

Dehradun Mayor Shri Saurabh Thapliyal thanked CM Dhami for his leadership, stating that the government’s policies align with public aspirations. He announced that the legacy waste at Sahastradhara’s former trenching ground will be cleared by 2025, with plans to transform the area into a safe and well-developed market for the public.

The event saw participation from Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, MLAs Khajan Das, Savita Kapoor, Durgeshwar Lal, former Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, Municipal Commissioner Namami Bansal, and other officials and public representatives.
