Death toll increases to 28 in Haridwar

Death toll increases to 28 in Haridwar. As we know that people had consumed spurious liquor on February 7 and they were admitted into hospital. In which 22 people have lost their life. Taking cognizance on it, government has suspended the 13 officers, who were suppose to check supply of spurious liquor, with immediate effect.

Sources said that they were offered spurious liquor in political ceremony. Although it is yet to be proven that they had consumed liquor there. Meanwhile state government has instructed the department concerned to do camping at the areas and do combing operation against the spurious liquor. They have been told to do camping unless and untill you sanitise the area.
