Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Kanwar Mela, starting on July 28, at CCR Auditorium, Haridwar on Sunday.
During the meeting, Chief Minister said that all facilities for the devotees coming in large number in Kanwar Yatra should be taken care of. Chief Minister also gave instructions to the officials to ensure proper traffic and security arrangements and work in an efficient manner.
District Magistrate Deepak Rawat apprised the Chief Minister that most of the work has been completed by the departments and the remaining works would be done by July 25. District Magistrate said that with the cooperation and guidance of the government, this time the Mela will be concluded in a more efficient manner as compared to the past.
