In a bid to review the damage caused by recent disasters and monitor the ongoing relief operations Chief Minister and cabinet ministers will personally visit disaster affected areas of various district. This has been decided in recently concluded cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
According to the decision, ministers will conduct on-ground inspections of disaster-affected areas to assess the extent of damage to infrastructure, agriculture, and personal assets. The objective is to ensure close monitoring of relief and rehabilitation work and to speed up the restoration process.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination to make disaster response more effective. Ensuring the availability of essential resources, providing timely assistance to affected families, and expediting rehabilitation will be given top priority.
Chief Minister Dhami said that a comprehensive review of the losses will help the government in framing future strategies and policy measures to deal with such disasters more effectively. He reiterated the government’s commitment to stand firmly with the disaster-hit families and to accelerate the recovery efforts across the state.
