Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while addressing the Uttarakhand Investment Festival–2025 in Rudrapur, celebrated the successful grounding of ₹1 lakh crore worth of investments, a major milestone following the Uttarakhand Global Investors’ Summit (UKGIS) 2023. The event was graced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who praised the state’s rapid strides in development.
CM Dhami stated that the grounding of investment reflects Uttarakhand’s immense potential, public participation, and the state’s push for self-reliance and industrial prosperity. He highlighted that out of the ₹3.56 lakh crore MoUs signed during UKGIS-2023, projects worth over ₹1 lakh crore have already been grounded, showcasing Uttarakhand’s momentum in investment, innovation, and inclusive industrial growth.
To enable this transformation, the state has introduced more than 30 investor-friendly policies, including the Industrial Policy, Logistics Policy, Startup Policy, and MSME Policy. A ₹200 crore venture fund has been created to support startups, while the “Nivesh Mitra” portal offers a single-window clearance mechanism.
CM Dhami also detailed progress on specialized industrial hubs such as the Aroma Park (Kashipur), Plastic Park (Sitarganj), Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (Kashipur), and the Multimodal Logistics Park (Pantnagar). He also announced the upcoming Industrial Smart City in Khurpia, with an investment of ₹1,300 crore.
Uttarakhand has been recognized as an “Achiever” in Ease of Doing Business and a “Leader” in Startup Rankings, with over 260 business services available online.
During the event, Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of projects worth ₹1,342 crore, and visited an investment exhibition. The event was attended by top political leaders, senior officials, and industry stakeholders, marking a new chapter in Uttarakhand’s industrial journey.
