In a bid to expedite preparations for the upcoming 38th National Games, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has urged the people to display the National Games logo on their social media DP to extend a warm welcome to the athletes. The CM emphasized that hosting the National Games is a moment of great pride for the state, with around 10,000 athletes from across the country set to participate.
Calling upon the citizens to uphold the state’s tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhava” (Guests are God), he requested everyone to contribute to making the event a grand success by encouraging the players and creating a memorable experience for them. “Let’s ensure that the athletes return with fond memories of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand,” he added.
CM Dhami further highlighted that the National Games will play a vital role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making Uttarakhand a leader in the third decade of the 21st century. He urged the people to unite and make the event special, both for the players and for the history of Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister’s initiative aims to boost public involvement, instill pride, and create a positive atmosphere for the upcoming sporting extravaganza.
