Union Minister Amit Shah commends UK’s Role in protecting borders, praises CM Dhami too

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah expressed joy at the upcoming celebration of Ramlala’s birthday in the Ram temple after 500 years. He emphasized the significance of this event, highlighting it as a momentous occasion for all. Criticizing the Congress, he stated that the matter of the temple was intentionally delayed for decades, whereas Prime Minister Modi completed the temple’s consecration in just five years.

Shah also commended the Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami for his proactive initiatives. He noted that the Bharatiya Jana Sangh had long advocated for a Uniform Civil Code, and he took pride in CM Dhami being the first in India to work towards this, as highlighted in the BJP’s resolution letter.

Discussing Uttarakhand’s role in national security, Shah praised the state’s contribution despite its lower population density. He contrasted Indira Gandhi’s unfulfilled promise of One Rank One Pension with Modi’s fulfillment of this commitment, depositing Rs 70,000 crore directly into the accounts of armed forces personnel. He emphasized that re-electing Modi means advancing towards a developed India and Uttarakhand.

Addressing the accountability of Congress leaders, Shah questioned their lack of transparency regarding their work. He highlighted the disparity in funds allocated to Uttarakhand during Congress’s tenure, citing Rs 53,000 crore over 10 years compared to Modi’s Rs 1.66 lakh crore, including Rs 82,000 crore for infrastructure and ongoing projects.

Shah applauded CM Dhami’s proactive approach by consistently presenting demands for Uttarakhand’s development. He stressed the importance of promoting tourism to curb migration, noting Modi’s efforts in constructing all-weather roads with Rs. 12,000 crore and the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor with Rs 8,000 crore. Furthermore, he mentioned the development of the state’s railway infrastructure, including the construction of the country’s largest railway tunnel.

Shah concluded with Modi’s commitment to the Vibrant Village initiative, aiming to boost village populations, especially in border areas like those near China, ensuring a prosperous future for Uttarakhand.
