In a decisive action against illegal encroachments, three unauthorized tombs were demolished in Ramnagar today following the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The demolition drive, carried out in the presence of administrative staff, was executed with bulldozers, sending out a strong message that unlawful constructions will not be tolerated in Uttarakhand.
The state government, under the leadership of CM Dhami, has reiterated its commitment to eliminating illegal encroachments from forest land, government property, and public spaces. Officials have been directed to continue identifying such structures and ensure their removal in the coming days.
The move has boosted public confidence, with locals praising the government’s strict stance and calling it a “step towards new Uttarakhand.” Residents said these encroachments had long been a matter of concern and expressed relief that firm measures are now being taken.
The government’s ongoing campaign against illegal constructions is seen as a milestone in establishing law and order, good governance, and a transparent system in the state. Locals said the Dhami government’s bulldozer action is not just demolishing unlawful structures but also laying the foundation for a safer, encroachment-free Uttarakhand.
