In the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the proposal for reservation of ten percent economically weak has been given a green signal. Yogi Adityanath’s Cabinet has given a green signal to the implementation of this proposal of the central government in Lok Bhawan today in Uttar Pradesh. In the Government jobs and educational institutions in UP from January 14, 10 percent of the economically weak general category reservation will be applicable. A total of 14 important decisions were taken during the meeting of the Cabinet held in Lok Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath convened a cabinet meeting today. In this meeting, proposals to implement 10 percent reservation for economically weak general category in Uttar Pradesh were stamped. Apart from this, assistance will be provided for marketing and transportation in one district one product scheme. The additional income earned by taxing the excise department, will be spent on upkeep of cattle shelters. The name of Mughalsarai tehsil is renamed after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Rehabilitating the 1101 dried up tube wells and 2000 new tubewells will take place. Ministers will not need cabinet approval to recommend the project upto a crore rupees. Uttar Pradesh has become the fourth state to implement reservation for the general category. The Social welfare department has prepared proposals for reservation to the poor in government jobs and all types of educational institutions (excluding minorities).
