The All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to sir Ganga Ram hospital Delhi on Friday, condition is stable now.
As per the information she had gone to Shimla on Friday rushed back to the Delhi and admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after she complained of an upset stomach.
According to the hospital chairman DS Rana, Mrs Gandhi is under observation. She was brought to the hospital at 5 pm on Friday. She has been found to be suffering from stomach upset and has been admitted for observation.
Gandhi was rushed to the hospital in an air-ambulance from Shimla, where she had gone for a vacation. A team of doctors from the hospital was deputed to bring her back from Shimla. Party sources said her condition was stable.
Her son and Congress vice -president Rahul Gandhi later tweeted, “Ma was in Shimla and caught a stomach bug so we got her back. Nothing to worry, she’s much better. Thanks for the tremendous love and concern.”
