Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh have property worth of Rs 30.5 crore including movable and immovable assets worth Rs 30.50 crore, besides Rs 6 lakh cash. As per the affidavit filed by the CM along with his nomination paper, Singh and his family income similar to the Assembly election 2012. CM has shown Rs 1.08 crore income from agriculture in three different PAN accounts, his wife has had an income of Rs 28.06 lakh.
His total movable and immovable assets are worth of Rs 13.68 crore while spouse is Rs 16.82 crore. As per the affidavit CM Virbhadra has Rs 5.50 lakh in cash while his wife has Rs 50,000. The gross value of the total amount in the CM’s 13 accounts in Rampur, Sarahan, Shimla and Delhi is Rs 7.15 crore.
It includes one policy worth of Rs 1 crore, Rs 7.35 lakh in UTI Wealth Builder Fund and Rs 50 lakh jewellery. His wife’s total movable assets are pegged at Rs 2.51 crore which includes Rs 47 lakh gold (2860 gms), a policy worth Rs 1 crore and a PPF account having Rs 16.13 lakh. The immovable assets worth of Singh is Rs 6.53 crore while his wife’s asset is Rs 14.31 crore. It includes the value of his ancestral palace Shanti Estate in Sarahan, and agricultural land at Damrali near Rampur.
Virbhadra carries a liability of Rs 39 lakh as he has taken a loan for house building. As far as his income tax dues are concerned, Virbhadra has indicated that this amount stands at Rs 4.78 crore and that of his wife is Rs 1.07 crore. The total government dues indicated by the CM is Rs 5.17 crore while Pratibha has shown it at Rs 1.07 crore.
The source of income indicated by the CM is salary, interests and agricultural income. In case of wife, it is interest, pension (ex-MP) and agricultural/horticultural income.
