To Motivate the farmers especially Ghes village, which have grown pea worth of Rs 1.5 crore, chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has launched its harvesting by plucking few peas from the plant in the presence of Agriculture secretary D Senthil Pandian and Garhwal Commissioner Dilip Jawalkar today. with this cultivation they have created new slogan i.e. Ghes se sikhega desh (nation will learn from ghes). We can say that it is not less than pea revolution by seeing their bumper crop. By doing this they have presented an example before the other villagers, who have been shirking their responsibility by saying that their crop being destroyed by monkey and wild boar so they deserted their land and village too.

As we know that in 2016 villagers had produced pea wroth of mere Rs seven lakh but this year they have grown pea worth of Rs 1.5 crore. They have produced it in less than three months. with this production they have sent message across the country, who curse their government for lack of employment opportunity in their nearby areas and leave their village in search of better pasture.

IN his address CM Rawat said that their government is providing Rs two lakh loan at nominal rate which you can use for the upgradation of your produce or purchase of domestic animal too. He would do everything to increase the production upto Rs five crore by next year. He reiterated that Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi has dreamt to double the farmers income by 2022 and their government has taken pledge to make it possible. Taking cognizance on the poor connectivity, CM Rawat assured that he would enhance connectivity through balloon technology.
