Veteran rally being organised by Army in Srinagar

To apprise the veterans about the welfare projects, which were initiated by the state and union government, two days long Veterans Rally is being organised by the army at Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand on October 13-14 under the aegis of the Garud Division. It is being organised to project the image of the Army in the general public.

Chief Minister Trivendra singh Rawat along with senior army officers and other important dignitaries are likely to attend the rally. Various stalls of information, Pension Adalats, Bank Pension, Army Placement Node and Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) will be incorporated in the Rally.  In addition, a medical camp will also be organised wherein the services of various medical specialists including Nirmal Eye Care, Rishikesh Services will also be made available to the veterans and their families in the Rally.

The army authorities will be making elaborate and extensive arrangements for the event which would also include various cultural programmes.  The rally will be attended by veterans and Veer Naris from various regions of Pauri Garhwal.
