Honda recalls over 3500 cars to replace airbags

Honda Cars India has announced that the company is voluntarily recalling 3,669 units of vehicle in India, from 2003 to 2006, the company will replace Takata’s Airbags in Honda Accord. This recollection is part of the recall campaign being run by Honda at global level for cautiousness, which is to overcome the problems in Takata Airbags’s. Honda India will do this job for free replacement and repair cars related to recalls on Honda dealership from April 18, 2019.

Honda Cars India is contacting every customer who had purchased Honda Accord during this time and Honda has suggested that Accord’s customers can visit the company’s website and enter their 17-digit vehicle identification number and get information about RK Recall . This is the 9th time in India when Honda Cars India Limited is recalling its cars on Takata Airbags. In January 2018, Honda Cars had recalled 22,834 vehicles, in which bad airbag inflators imposed for side passenger was replaced.

Honda India, while giving information on recent recalls, said that due to the Takata Airbag Inflator Recall, Honda Cars is reaching all affected customers and it will be rectified as soon as possible through the dealership.
