Students to get their scholarship by Deepawali: Arya

Taking cognizance on the students’ condition, who were pursuing their study with the help of scholarship, state cabinet Yashpal Arya has categorically asked the officer concerned to make sure release of budget for disbursement of their scholarship before Deepawali.  As we know that after release of budget the scholarship would reach into the account of beneficieries by next fortnight.

Expressing displeasure over the dillydallying attitude of the department officials, who are yet to join their new designated areas, Arya has asked them to join at new posting and if district social welfare officers fails to submit their report then he would take disciplinary action against the DSWO.

As we know that since revelation of scholarship scam, government has stopped the disbursement of scholarship for the last four months and now students are facing tough time. In view of this minister has asked the officer to release the budget for the disbursement of scholarship among the genuine students.

Reviewing the Babu jagjeevan ram hostel yojna, Arya asked the district welfare officer to send a proposal of their planning under this head so that he would send the proposal to the union government for budget allocation. The project is 100 percent aided by union government

He also reviewed the multipurpose camp organization and asked them to organize such camp in remote areas in place of district head quarter so that people sitting in far flung area can enjoy its benefit. He asked the District magistrates to extend their support to the DSWO for organizing multipurpose camp.
