Uttarakhand governor Dr KK Paul said that justice should not be delayed –only then will the right to justice have any meaning. The efforts should be made to reduce the number of the pending cases in courts. He said while addressing to the trainees of the  Civil Judge (Junior Division) 2014 batch of Uttarakhand Judicial Services who came to make a courtesy call on him.  He expressed the hope that  the new generation of judicial officers would use modern techniques and technology in the judicial process.

He said that the number of pending cases in courts at various levels was too large .All possible efforts should be made to resolve these matters .When people received justice in time, they will receive justice in the true sense.

As far as possible, the cases should not be deferred .In Uttarakhand, it took a lot of time and money for people to keep visiting the courts. He asked the trainee officers about their experiences and wished them all the best for the future.
