CM Dhami Flags Off 72-Member Team for 28th National Youth Festival

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off a 72-member team from Uttarakhand to participate in the 28th National Youth Festival, scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, between January 10 to 12. The team comprises 30 participants involved in cultural programs and 42 young leaders representing the theme of a developed India. In which 40 of the participants are women, symbolizing the empowering women of Uttarakhand.

Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya, who was present at the event, expressed her best wishes to the participants and encouraged them to give their best in showcasing the cultural vibrancy and youth leadership of Uttarakhand. The festival is a national-level platform that brings together talented youth from across the country to exchange ideas and promote cultural and social unity.

In his address CM Dhami highlighted the importance of the festival as a significant opportunity for young talent to represent the state and bring pride to Uttarakhand on a national platform. He lauded the high number of female representation, noting it as a testament to the state’s commitment to promoting women empowerment.

Senior officials, including Special Principal Secretary Youth Welfare Amit Sinha, Nodal Officer SK Jayaraj, and State NSS Officer Dr. Sunaina Rawat, were present there. The team left amidst great enthusiasm, with an aim to showcase Uttarakhand’s talent and spirit on the national stage.
