Dehradun fashion week-2017 begins

The first day of the three-day long Dehradun Fashion Week and Lifestyle Show 2017 commenced at Hotel Solitaire. The show stopper of the evening was ‘Jana na dil se door’ fame Actress Priyanka Kandwal. She during the show walked the ramp for Dehradun based designer Reena Kaur.

Under the banner of Sinmit Communications, Dehradun Fashion Week and Lifestyle Show 2017 brought the fashion extravaganza in town.

The designers for whom the models walked the ramp on the first day were Gauri Agarwal from Haldwani, Reena Kaur & Sameeksha from Dehradun, INIFD from Roorkee, Tasso Lily Yampi from Arunachal Pradesh, Kingshuk Bhaduri from Nazimabad Khan Collections from New Delhi.

Organizer Dalip Sindhi and Rajeev Mittal said, “The next day of Dehradun Fashion Week 2017 will witness the collection of International designer Sanjana Jon. She will be showcasing an exquisite couture collection for both men and women inspired by the River Ganga. Star Plus serial ‘Ye rishta kya kehlata hai’ fame actress Shivangi Joshi will be walking the ramp for her.”

Dehradun Fashion Week 2017 is being organized by Platform Events. Agendra Gautam from Fashion Walk Management is the show director and Rajdeep Roy is the Fashion consultant. Embellished Talent is the talent partner management and Dehradun choreography is being done by Kapil Gauhri from Dehradun.

The three-day long fashion show is hosting some of the leading designers from all over India. The designers who will be exhibiting their range in the next two days are include Sanjana Jon, Kriti Kumar, AB Walliuddin Ahmed, Sumit Dasgupta, Himmat Singh, Shekhar by Mayank, Aurain Nayyab, Kirti Rathore, Fashion Libas, Sujoy Dasgupta, Poonam Rajput, Puneet & Nidhi, Haaris Inifd, Chuichui Shimray, Tanya Puri, Farha Ansari, Kanchan Sabharwal, Kiran Gogoi, Jitumoni Teron, Rupa G, Vinay Rana and Shalini Bhasker Kedia.
