The Central Foundry Forge Plant (CFFP) unit of BHEL Haridwar has bagged the prestigious “Global Energy Management Award”, institutedby the South Asian Forum for Energy Efficiency (SAFEE), in foundry sector.The award ceremony was organized at India International Centre, New Delhi to mark the “Swami Vivekananda UrjaUtsav”. The award was received by General Manager (CFFP) Sh. Rajiv Mehra from the Chairperson of CEA (Central Electricity Authority)  RK Verma.

 

Speaking on this impressive achievement, Executive Director (CFFP) NR Edkiecongratulated all the employees and dedicated the feat to their commitment and hard work. He also called for more dedicated efforts and team work to take CFFP to similar glories in the future.

 

This recognition to CFFP stamps the efforts in the area of energy conservation through multi-faceted efforts viz. change of fuel usage from LDO, HSD&LPG to a cleaner and more efficient RLNG (Natural Gas),andthrust on the usage of energy efficient equipment and facilities.CFFP is anISO 50001 certified unit of BHEL and iscommitted to a safer, cleaner and energy efficient system.
