Over 1200 vacancies in Railways

Indian Railways has issued vacancies for 1200 government jobs. The most important thing this time is that most of these jobs do not require any entrance exam. Under the Apprentice Act, East Coast Railway has taken out a total of 1,216 vacancies. Even in the name of educational qualification, applicants will have to be 8th pass and above.

Vacancies are for these posts

Railways have said in their website that there are vacancies of fitter, welder, mechanic, painter, sheet metal worker and trade welder. The candidate will have to get a certificate from a technical institute for this.

Educational qualification

Different educational qualifications have been sought for different posts. According to Railways, applicants should be have passed from 8th to 10th for various posts. It has also been clarified that the candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained.

No entrance exam

East Coast Railway will not conduct any entrance examination for these posts. All the recruitments will be under the Apprentices Act.

Application fee

According to the official website of the railway, the general and OBC category candidates will be charged 100 rupees. No fee will be charged from SC / ST, women and PWD candidates.
