Kedarnath & Badrinath to be closed by Oct 21 & Nov 19

If u wish to visit Uttarakhand for char dham yatra especially Kedarnath then don’t wait and visit as soon as possible because Badrinath Kedarnath Temple committee (BKTC) has announced that the shrine will be closed by October 21 while Badrinath shrine will be closed for the winter season by November 19. With these closure annual char dham yatra will be closed this year and will open in April/May 2018.

As per the schedule  Kedarnath shrine would be closed by October 21 and Tungnath will be closed by October 27 while Badrinath shrine will be closed by November 19 and  Madhamaheshwar will be closed by November 22.

It means you can pay obeisance to Lord Shiva at Kedarnath till October 21 otherwise you will have to wait till April/May 2018. While disclosing this chief executive officer of the BKTC BD Singh said that the ceremonial annual closure of the char dham will take place at 7.30 pm on November 19.
