A video went viral on Tuesday in which an additional district judge from Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh was seen losing her cool and slapping a policeman in uniform in Premnagar area. Circle officer Chandra Mohan said that Premnagar police had called two rival student groups from a local college to the police station to thrash out an understanding. “Incidentally, the judge’s son was a member of one of the student groups involved in the scuffle. She reached the police station and slapped a policeman deputed there,” he said. However, as per the video footage, Premnagar police station officer Naresh Rathore and other police personnel present were seen resisting her. Chandra Mohan said that no FIR has been lodged against the ADJ over the slapping incident.
