Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the shooting of the film “Gaudan Ki Pukar” by giving the ceremonial clap for the muhurat shot at Dharkot, Dehradun on Thursday. The film, centered around the themes of cow protection and cow welfare, is expected to inspire and raise awareness about traditional Indian values related to cow service.
In his address CM Dhami said that the message of cow protection is deeply rooted in Indian culture and films like Gaudan Ki Pukar can play a meaningful role in creating awareness among the public. He also highlighted the growing prominence of Uttarakhand as an emerging hub for film production, attracting film makers due to its natural beauty, supportive policies, and serene environment.
The event witnessed the presence of several renowned film personalities including producer Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, and actors Manoj Joshi and Upasana Singh, along with the entire cast and crew.
The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to promoting the film industry in the state and ensuring that projects with strong social and cultural messages get the necessary support and encouragement.
