Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed voters to support Shailendra Singh Rawat for Mayor and BJP candidates for councilor posts in the upcoming Kotdwar Municipal Corporation elections.In his address CM Dhami stressed the crucial role of a BJP-led board in driving the development and progress of the region. CM Dhami criticized the Congress, accusing it of stalling development in Kotdwar during its rule. He stated, “Under Congress governance, regional development came to a standstill, and schemes failed to help the people. The Congress party always works only for personal gains at the cost of national interests.”
He emphasized that a BJP board would accelerate development and ensure the effective implementation of government schemes. He added that the BJP is committed to deliver on its promises and ensuring continuous progress in the state. Highlighting recent achievements, the Chief Minister mentioned laying the foundation stone for Satpuli Lake in Kotdwar, assuring the public that it would soon be inaugurated.
Urging voters to support BJP, CM reiterated that the party’s dedication to the region’s development and its commitment to good governance.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, including Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, Lansdowne MLA Mahant Daleep Rawat, and BJP State Vice President Shailendra Singh Bisht, alongside several dignitaries and party members, who collectively reinforced their appeal for a BJP mandate in the upcoming elections.
