Bhartiya Janta Party candidate Gautam Gambhir has been caught in a new trouble. Election Commission has taken action in the case of unauthorized rally in Delhi. FIR against BJP leader Gautam Gambhir has been registered. After the EC’s order, Delhi Police has taken this action. The Election Commission had asked the Delhi Police to register an FIR against Gautam Gambhir in the case of unauthorized rally. Indeed, on April 25, Gautam Gambhir had organized a rally in Jangpura of Delhi, which was not allowed by the administration.
While taking action on cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir, the Election Commission had said that Gautam Gambhir has to face action to organize a rally without permission. The Election Commission said that Gautam Gambhir violated the code of conduct during the rally on 25th of April. This is the reason why the Delhi Police has taken action on the Election Commission’s order.
Significantly, Gautam Gambhir has long been a supporter of the BJP government’s policies. In the presence of union minister Arun Jaitley last month, he was the BJP’s supporter.
