The fair will conclude on Mahashivaratri on March 4, starting from 25th of February. The police has completed the preparations for the traffic. Most of the folks go to Haridwar from Najibabad highway. Kanwar will take the Ganga water from Haridwar to their destinations.

The Haridwar-Najibabad highway is mostly blocked in the Kanwar fair of Shivratri. That is why the highway has to be completely closed. If there is a crowd in the coming days, it is necessary to stop the highway. In view of this, the traffic police has prohibited entry of heavy vehicles from February 28 on the Haridwar-Najibabad highway.
