Virat Kohli becomes first player to win 3 ICC awards in the same year

Virat Kohli has a tremendous start in the ICC Awards -2018. He won the Best Cricketer of the Year award in Tests, ODIs. Virat has been chosen ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2018. He won the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. Along with that, Virat was selected for the first time in the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year. Apart from this, Viratis the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year for a second consecutive year.

Along with that Virat completed the unique hat-trick. 30-year-old Virat won cricketer of the year, Test cricketer of the year and ODI cricketer of the year award. Along with this Virat Kohli has been named captain of both the Test and ODI team of the year. That is, Virat got five achievements together and once again proved his imperialism.

Expressing happiness at winning the awards, Virat said that with my performance, the team has done a great show too, which makes it even better. He said that this award not only inspires himself to keep himself in the best form, but also guides the other teammates to do well. Kohli said that this year has been great. ICC (International Cricket Council) announced on Tuesday the ICC Awards 2018 This series also includes ODIs and Test Team of the Year. India captain Virat Kohli was named captain of both the ICC’s Test and One Day Team of the Year – 2018.

The ICC has shown the reason behind Kohli being named captain. In fact, he won India in nine matches out of 14 one-day matches in 2018. Talking about Tests, Virat Kohli was the highest run scorer in 2018. He scored 1322 runs in 13 Tests at an average of 55.08.

In addition to Captain Virat Kohli in ICC ODI Team of the Year, India, Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav and Jaspreet Bumrah have also been included.
