UK to get Rs 3340 crore shortly

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat met the Union Minister Radha Mohan in New Delhi on Friday.

Chief Minister discussed the Integrated Co-operative Development Project in Uttarakhand with the Union Minister. He also handed over the proposal of the state in this regard. Union Minister gave in principle apprioval for Rs 3340 crore rupees for the Integrated Co-operative Development Project for Uttarakhand.

While expressing gratitude to the Union Minister, Chief Minister said that the implementation of Integrated Co-operative Development Project will improve the economy of the farmers in Uttarakhand. Farming, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries and other related activities will help in preventing migrations.

Uttarakhand Minister of State for Co-operatives Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram were present on this occasion.
