State to organise winter game

To review the preparation of upcoming winter sports, which is scheduled to happen at Auli, chief secretary conducted a meeting today.

Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh regarding the winter sports event to be held in Auli. Tourism Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, General Secretary of Indian Olympic Association Rajiv Mehta, Director Sports Pratap Shah  were present.

Chief Secretary said that adequate infrastructure facilities are available with the state government to organize winter games in Auli. He expected General Secretary of the Olympic Association to cooperate so that players from different countries participate in the Auli Winter Games.

Secretary of Tourism Dilip Jawalkar told the IOA General Secretary that there are required facilities for organizing winter sports in the senior and junior sections in the state. He expected cooperation in the winter sports for the Junior and Senior section in Auli.
