Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat paid obeisance at the Golden temple, Amritsar on Sunday. Chief Minister also took partake with the devotees at the Golden Temple.
Prior to this, Chief Minister flagged off the air services from Dehradun to Amritsar from Jolly Grant Airport. From the first flight of Spice Jet Airways, Chief Minister along with MLA Harbhajan Singh Cheema, Chairman of Dehradun International DS Mann, OSD to CM Abhay Rawat and other high officials. Along with this, the air services have started from Dehradun to Jaipur, Jammu and Amritsar cities.
Chief Minister said that work to connect several cities of the country with Jolly Grant Airport is being done. Chief Minister said that there was demand for direct flight from Amritsar to Dehradun from long time. Expansion of air services in the state is being done expeditiously. For which the state is getting complete support from the Central Government.
