Ex-IAS Chandrashekhar Bhatt has been appointed as new state election commissioner by the state government with immediate effect. With this appointment one more IAS has been rehabilitated by the state government.
As Bhatt belongs to Pauri District and chief minsiter Trivendra Singh Rawat also belongs to Pauri district. He has served the several districts of uttarakhand as DM and now he would serve as state election commissioner of uttarakhand.
