3 dead in Greater Noida building collapse

An accident occurred in Shah Beri of Greater Noida West last night. A six-storey under-construction building collapsed here. Many workers are reported to be injured in the accident. 3 dead bodies have been recovered from the site of the building collapse. The fear is that many people have been buried under the building debris. Police and administration teams have reached the accident spot for relief and rescue work.
During the mishap, there were many workers in the building. After the incident a panic broke out on the spot. Nearby people also reached the spot. It is being told that a lot of people are buried in the rubble. There is also a possibility of the number of casualities to go up. However, the administration has not yet confirmed the death of anyone. The injured were being taken to different hospitals.
Incidentally, Greater Noida Authority has banned construction in this area. Despite this, a large number of illegal constructions are going on here. Many-storied buildings have been made from land belonging to farmers here. These are being sold to people by making flat on them. There have been many cases of fraud.
