Commenting on the recently concluded winter session of Uttarakhand vidhan sabha at Gairsain, former chief Minister Harish Rawat has claimed that he has created a giant infrastructure known as vidhan sabha and laid foundation stone of Secretariat and other buildings at Gairsain. He has expressed disappointment with the Trivendra Singh Rawat led BJP regime and the way they concluded winter session in haste.
He has written on his facebook that by constructing vidhan sabha building and other offices he has forced all political parties including BJP to talk about Gairsain.
He demanded that BJP should declare Gairsain as capital of Uttarakhand immediately. As they had brought a notice with a demand to declare Gairsain as capital of Uttarakhand in the year 2016. Now why they are delaying it? Despite having double engine government they have not executed any work at Gairsain in last seven months. Even they have stopped the ongoing construction work, whichever were started by the previous government. Even we had laid foundation stone of secretariat building there but they stopped it.
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat has said that being an able maid he ensured Gairsain’s delivery in the form of vidhan sabha building and other construction work. Now onus on state government whether they want to name the newborn baby or not?
