In order to repair the city’s traffic system, four boom barriers will be installed in flats grounds and metropol parking. There were three applications in the tender process done online. Due to the lowest quotation, Bareilly’s company Climate Engineering was awarded the tender in about eight lakhs. At the same time, DM has instructed the employees of the company to apply the barrier within six weeks after understanding the whole process. The gates will open automatically alloing smooth flow of traffic due to sensors located on the boom barrier.
During the tourism season the city’s traffic system is completely derailed. Due to daily jam, the residents and tourists have to face heavy trouble. After the strictness of the High Court on this issue, plans were made on behalf of the Municipality to repair the parking arrangements. An automated boom barrier was used in the plots parking and metropol. The municipality administration has sought online applications through the app. According to EO Rohit Sharma, the on-line applications were made by Cooling Solutions Bareli Road, Haldwani, Climate Engineering Civil Lines Bareilly and Khandelwal Distributor Civil Lines Bareilly. In which climate engineering’s quote was at least 7.96 lakhs. 11.37 lakhs of cooling solutions and Khandelwal Distributor had bid for 9.48 lakh. Due to the lowest quotation, the tender of the Climate Engineering was approved. The company will be imposing the barrier within six weeks.
