Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat expressed disappointment that currently 60 percent students were studying in private schools while only 40 percent students were learning in government schools. Teachers of the government schools highly talented and well paid. Government teacher falls under A Grade. We have to concentrate on improving the quality of education. A think tank might be constituted comprising 10-12 best teachers. The Think Tank might suggest about how to improve the education quality and increase the students number in school too. Transfer Act will be introduced in the State soon.

He expected that teachers of the State would stress on the improvement of quality of education particularly. Teachers must adopt sensitive approach while handling the children.  Teachers should also emphasize that education of any child should not be affected due to any reason. Education of children should be our first priority. While addressing the Forth Biannual Conference  of Governmental Teachers Union held at Laxman Inter College Dehradun. CM said that there is difference between teachers and government employees, teachers are also pride of the State. Considering the large numbers of teachers in the State Chief Minister said that a building needed for the Teachers Union. While extending greetings the Governmental Teachers Union CM said that organizations strengthen the democracy, democracy is backbone of the constitution, people related education field are foundation of the State, the subject is related to the honor of the State.

Common man should be centre of any department. Education of the students should not be interrupted due to any problem. Teachers have to adopt sensitive approach while handling the children. State Government also taken initiative to start direct dialogue between Students and Government. Firstly, Chief Minister had interaction with the various students of State through video conferencing at Secretariat. Recently various senior IAS officers talked to the students of various government schools. These officials must have inspired the students to follow their dreams. Children should feel that Government is very close to them.

Schools would be able to save their existence when there will be sufficient numbers of students and teachers will also be benefitted than.
