Following on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream to connect every village of the country with electricity, Uttarakhand Power corporation limited (UPCL) with the help of Hans foundation has distributed 101 solar briefcase among the people of remotest areas of the state here in Dehradun on Sunday. These briefcases were distributed by the Mata Mangla Devi in the presence of Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. although they launched the panely by donating a piece to Lord kedar at kedarnath and later they relaunched at CM residence, dehradun.
Hans foundation chairperson shweta Rawat said that they have selected uttarakhand for the distribution of the solar briefcase. For this they have decided to distribute 15000 such briefcase among the people of the state. As a token today they have distributed 101 units among the needy residents of the state.
Socialist turned industrialist, Manoj Bhargawa said that we have develop this technology with the help of Hans foundation. As Bholeji Maharaj belongs to this region so they have decided to distribute such solar panel in the state first. Ironically their company has developed this lamp but they would distribute in the india on no profit no loss basis.
Hans foundation head Mata Mangla devi, who is daughter of first civil shourya award winner i.e. Matbar singh sajwan and wife of Bholeji Maharaj, said that while flying over the hills then she realised that how people are living at the top of the hills without electricity. As the hill top are too high so electricity department could not laid transmission line so she decided to do address such issue by providing a device which can illuminate their house. In this regard they have developed this technology, which is very much convenient.
