Sec asks power corporations to complete their project

Secretary Power Radhika Jha has categorically instructed the directors of Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA), Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PITCUL), Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) and Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL) to execute their ongoing projects within stipulated time period. In this regard she has written a letter to all the directors tday.

For this she suggested, Programme Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) charts should be developed and do physical monitoring on day to day basis. You also appoint nodal officer at corporation level so that accountability would be ensured. For the projects necessary clearances and no objection certificates should be procured on time so that there is no delay in its implementation.

She further mentioned that special examination of the projects, where extension is required in the execution or variation from the original plan is required, should be done as soon as possible. It covers all union government aided, state aided and foreign aided projects.
