Rispana Pul renamed to Swami Dayanand Setu

After meeting members of Arya Samaj at his secretariat office on Monday, chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat made the announcement to change the name of Rispina Bridge near assembly building. The bridge would be now called Swami Dayanand Setu on the names of Arya Samaj founder Swami Dayanand Saraswati.

Rawat said once cannot forget the contribution of Saraswati in the freedom struggle and he was the source of inspiration for many. Rispina bridge is an important location of the state capital, which acts a links between the hills of Garhwal and Dehradun.
