Ahead of Chhath festival, which happens six days after Deepawali at the embankment of river or pond, Purva Sanskritik Manch’s volunteer had organised swachhta Abhiyan in and around the ghat of Raipur where devotees would offer prayer to Sun god during chhath festival.
As part of this abhiyan, its volunteer Subhash jha said that this festival being organised basically by Bihar and Eastern UP earlier but now it has become festival of nation. Being a volunteer of Purva Sanskritik Manch it is our duty to make our part of contribution in this festival.
During sanitation drive volunteer also repaired the ghats so that devotees would not face inconvenience during puja. As we know that this is first and unique festival in its kind where devotees offer payer to Setting-sun and it ends with the prayer to rising sun. it means first we should pay regard to our elders then we should leave accountability over the youth
