Massive reshuffle in central secretariat

The cabinet committee on appointments has reshuffled their bureaucrats in central secretariat today. As per the appointment order-

Secretary Ajay Narayan Jha has been appointed as OSD in Department of Expenditure with immediate effect; Secretary CK Mishra, IAS (BH 83), has been given charge of  Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change; Secretary Injeti Srinivas has been appointed as secretary, Ministry of corporate affairs; Secretary Shipping; WB cadre IAS Gopal Krishna has been appointed as secretary, Ministry of shipping;  Bihar cadre IAS Ravikant has been appointed as secretary department of food & public distribution & Minitry of shipping too;

UP cadre Rabul Prasad Bhatnagar appointed as Secretary, Department of Sports & DG, SAI; Secretary Department of Food & Public distribution as secretary ministry of health & family welfare; Secretary  Preeti Sudan has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare; Special Secretary Alok Srivastava has been appointed as secretary department of justice; IAS KV Eapen appointed as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Pensions & Pensioners’ Welfare; IAS Shakuntala Gamlin appointed as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN).

Special Secretary AYUSH Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) on contract basis for the remainder period of 03 years, reckoned from the date of his assumption of charge i.e. 29.06.2017 as Special Secretary, AYUSH.

Karnataka cadre IAS Amita Prasad has been appointed as Additonal Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation while IRSEE VK Yadav has been debarred from appointment to any post in the Central Staffing Scheme. IAS Ram Mohan Mishra has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
