Noted actor Kamal Haasan, who has declared to join politics, has categorically apologized for hurriedly supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s knee jerk decision to demonetized Rs 1000 and Rs 500 denomination note.
A 62-years-old actor that if the PM accepts his blunder, my salaam (salute) awaits him. His comments were made in a column for local magazine. They included “accepting mistakes and rectifying them is a sign of statesmanship.”
On the intervening night of November 8-9, 2016, when Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currencies were banned. Then Haasan had twitted “salute to Mr Modi.”. this move should be celebrated across political party lines. More importantly by honest tax payers.
