Noted leader Hardik Patel on Tuesday has outrightly rejected the reports that he met AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi in an Ahmedabad hotel and questioned how CCTV footage of the five-star hotel, where they were staying got leaked.
In his tweet he said “I did not meet Rahul Gandhi but whenever I will meet him, will go to meet him after declaring it to whole Hindustan. We will meet during his next Gujarat visit. Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
Patel, who had met AICC General Secretary and Gujarat congress incharge Ashok Gehlot, lamabasted against the BJP leaders for christening him a congress agent.
in another tweet he mentioned “Those who say I am an agent of Congress are in fact the agent of BJP. I do not bother what BJP leaders say”.
Patel, who had organised the Patidar reservation movement in the state, demands probe how could Gujarat police or the state government ask for CCTV footage of the Ummed Hotel where he was staying. coincidentally Rahul gandhi was also staying there on Monday – being assumed that they convened a secret meeting.
Patel asked the media person “Keep your hands on your heart and have I committed any offence. How the CCTV footage get leaked.”
Patel, who has been maintaining that he would not join the Congress, flayed Gujarat’s ruling BJP.
