Guest teachers to be appointed on the post of LT

A day before Deepawali, a festival of light, state government has decided to appoint guest teachers on the post of LT with immediate effect. In this regard a notification, which was signed by secretary School Education Chandrashekhar Bhatt, has been issued as well. Welcoming the decision Guest teachers’ Association has expressed thanks to government and education minister Arvind Pandey too.

Even the teachers, who could not join due to unavailability of seat of LT post, would be appointed in government school on the post of LT. With this notification education minister, who was grabbing media attention by taking action against the teacher, has surprised everyone with this decision. With this order around 3000 guest teachers will be benefited.

It would be pertinent to mention here that guest teachers’s service had ended on march 31, 2017 and they had challenged the decision in court. Due to this reason government were facing inconvenience in taking decision on it. High court had pronounced their judgement in favour of guest teachers on October 9 and now government has implemented the order on October 18. Their appointment has been extended till the end of education session i.e. march 31, 2018.

These teachers will serve the schools till the regular appointment or march 31, 2018 whichever is earlier.
