EC set to announce date of Gujarat & HP assembly election

The Election Commission of India (ECI) may announce date for the election of the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assemblies today.

The poll panel has called a press conference this evening to announce the poll schedule.

As we know that the 182-member Gujarat Assembly term ends on January 22 while the term of the 68-member HP Assembly ends on January 7.
