CM writes a letter to Union Minister

To address the connectivity problem in Leh and Kargil districts Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has written a letter to union minister of state for communication.

In which she has sought immediate redressal of connectivity issues of Leh and Kargil districts. she stressed that these two districts remain cut off from the Valley for a major period of the year, mobile connectivity to the region ought to be made more dependable by taking appropriate measures.

It may be recalled here that a large number of people of these two districts had met the CM during her last two visits to the region and they complained about poor mobile connectivity which has made their life difficult.

Mehbooba Mufti mentioned that the region witnesses a huge tourist footfall which also makes it necessary to make the area much more communicable. She has asked the Union Minister to direct the mobile companies to address their grievances
