Cabinet approved guidelines for reconstruction of kedarnath

Trivendra Singh Rawat cabinet has approved the recommendation of cabinet sub committee, which was constituted to study the viablaity of reconstruction work in and around Kedarnath also known as Kedarpuri, today. As per the report committee has given 16 points recommendation and cabinet has approved this. Even cabinet has empowered Chief Minister to take decision on its reconstruction. cabient has also approved that the government would signed a Mou with Jindel Steel for re-construction work at kedarpuri. Although cabinet has set the guidelines and now onward anyone can make their contribution for construction work but executive agencies will have to work with the guideline. this was disclosed by the state cabinet minsiter madan kaushik while briefing to the media about the cabinet decision along with newly joined chief secretary UK Singh,

All the decisions like selection of architect, architectural design, construction of retaining wall on Mandakini and Saraswati rivers and construction of houses for priests would be taken in accordance with these guidelines. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jindal Steels would also be signed for reconstruction works in Kedarnath. for this government would open a separate bank account and money will be deposited into the account.
