98% money will be used judiciously: CM Rawat

Strange but true that Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has categorically said that he can give assurance of judicious use of money upto 98 percent only. With this statement CM has shocked everyone at his residence on Sunday. As we know that since he took charge as CM of UK, he has been consistently claiming that their government has adopted zero tolerance on corruption. Even during independence day speech he spoke that he would neither eat nor will allow anyone to eat because he has been running crusade against corruption.

He expressed this view while addressing in a function, which was organized by UPCL to distribute solar briefcase with the help of Hans foundation here at chief minister residence, Dehradun.  CM Rawat said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fixed target to connect with electricity to each village of the country by May 1, 2019 but he has decided to illuminate every house of the state by May 2018. He asked the owner of the solar briefcase that if you promise to increase the supply of it then he would make such promises to everyone from this podium.

He also said that when he come to know that Hans Foundation, which had spent around Rs 850 crore in social cause in 2016-17, has been working to illuminate far flung areas households of the state. Now they have promised that they would give solar briefcase, which can be used as torch, light, as mobile charger and can run tiny fan too, among the people lives in remotest areas of the state. Elated CM assured the Mata Mangla devi that he would ensure 98 percent money to be used judiciously.

Political analyst said that CM might have realised that to run government on zero tolerance is very much difficult which is why he has given enough hint to the people that you make 98 percent judicious use.
