Gurmeet Ram Rahim was not saint: Sakshi

Backtracking his own statement, BJP MP  Sakshi Maharaj said on Wednesday that Gurmeet Ram Rahim was not a saint and that he was a householder.

Earlier theBJP leader had defended the Dera Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim of Sirsa who is behind bars after proven rapist by the CBI court, Haryana. As we know that CBI court has pronounced 20 year imprisonment to Dera head Ram Rahim on the charges of raping two women saints in his ashram.

Sakshi Maharaj proclaimed this while attending a function in Nirmal akhara.

Talking to the media persons in Haridwar he said, “Babas like Ram Rahim, Rampal and Asharam are not sains. They give religious  discourses and tell tales to their followers and live life as a householder. They have children and wives so how can we call them saint. Saints are thise who follow  bylaws of Akhara”. He also said that animal sacrifice should be banned in the name of religion.
