PM Modi to address political rally in Rishikesh on April 11

Elated with the success of PM Modi rally in Rudrapur, BJP is going to address another political rally of PM Modi in Uttarakhand on April 11. This time PM will address public rally in Rishikesh. This rally will have more impact because it (Rishikesh) surrounded by all three constituencies of Garhwal division i.e. Haridwar, Tehri Garhwal and Garhwal.

In anticipation of PM Narendra Modi’s rally in Rishikesh, Chief Minister Dhami performed the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony at IDPL on Monday. The massive turnout in Rudrapur has already bolstered BJP’s confidence in Kumaon, and now the focus shifts to Garhwal division.

Rishikesh has been strategically chosen by the BJP for the PM’s rally, given its position as a central hub for the three parliamentary seats. The rally in Rishikesh will directly benefit the BJP candidate in the Haridwar Lok Sabha seat. Additionally, candidates from Pauri and Tehri seats are also expected to gain momentum from the PM’s rally.

Rishikesh, falling within the Haridwar Lok Sabha seat, is a crucial stop on the Chardham Yatra route. This further enhances the rally’s significance, benefiting candidates from all three seats. Enthusiasm is palpable among BJP supporters across all three constituencies ahead of the PM’s rally on April 11.

PM Modi’s Focus on Infrastructure

The network of flyovers in Haridwar has eased traffic congestion in the religious city, while the all-weather road constructed near Rishikesh for Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri has significantly improved pilgrimage journeys. This has resulted in over 50 lakh devotees visiting Uttarakhand during the Yatra in the past two years.

The local economy is directly reaping the benefits of these developments. Furthermore, numerous railway, road, and ropeway projects have been proposed and are underway. These crucial projects are poised to transform the landscape of the Garhwal division in the years to come.”
