Champawat police keeping eye on social media posts on Bharat Bandh on April 10

Champawat police is on the alert regarding the social media posts of country wide ban on April 10 in protest against reservations. Vigilance surveillance cell has been placed under the supervision of SP Dhirendra Gunjyal to monitor social media. The team has taken action against 16 people including a ranger, a constable of the forest department posting about reservation. Besides, notices have been issued to all 16 accused.

In the past, the Supreme Court had issued guidelines for SC/ST act . The whole country was burnt with fire of protest. In many states, the violent mob had burnt down vehicles and shops. Many people had lost their lives in that violence. The SP said that the action was taken against the poster forest department’s ranger, a soldier and eight others. Along with them, notices have also been issued. If those people are caught doing this again, they will be arrested.
